Hi there! Welcome to Connected Cloth, a newsletter celebrating the stories of textiles and the processes behind them. As well as exploring textile items, objects and techniques, I document my own studio practice and behind the scenes of being a designer maker.

I’m Millie Morgan, a weaver, spinner, dyer and all round textile enthusiast. I fell in love with the process of weaving and creating cloth several years ago and now create woven homewares and artworks from my studio in Hereford, UK.

This newsletter is a place to share my thoughts on textiles and delve into writing about my passions. I love hearing people’s stories about textiles that hold special memories or emotions to them and I love writing about them to.
